Video Content Producer / Director - (eCommerce & TV Retailer)

A talented Video Content Producer / Director is needed to join a global eCommerce and TV retailer in London. Based from their fantastic media centre in Chiswick, expect an exciting role directing and producing on-brief video content across all platforms.

With over 20 years' experience and operations in countries across the globe, this household name eCommerce / TV retailer employs over 17,000 people worldwide and are ranked as one of the world's top multimedia shopping companies in terms of both viewers and revenue. Continuing to experience exciting levels of growth, they are now seeking a Video Content Producer / Director to create world class video content that can include cross-platform campaigns, editorial content and digital initiatives including social-media content and marketing output.

Reporting to the Video Content Production Manager the Video Content Producer / Director, will be responsible for the full production process from inception to delivery, whilst driving the creative direction for video content. Whether you are creating and writing proposals, storyboards and scripts for all video content; producing coherent, consistent, and creative campaigns; directing location shoots; leading and motivating a team (sometimes up to 20 people on a shooting day); making decisions on products, props, locations, models, make up, transport and all other logistical requirements or delivering the production on budget, you will play a key role in ensuring their audience enjoys a consistently engaging experience to maximise viewership, and subsequently sales.

To qualify… You should be a Video Content Producer / Director / Content or Promo Producer / Video Director / Video Producer / Producer / Video Project Manager / Digital Producer or similar who can demonstrate:

  • Experience in producing / directing high quality online video content;
  • The ability to write powerful scripts or copy;
  • Graphic design and marketing techniques along with the ability to create and present effective storyboards;
  • Experience of PSC location directing;
  • Strong post-production skills including offline editing;
  • Experience of working in studios and on location;
  • The ability to work independently or as part of a team;
  • Strong communication skills.

Knowledge of retail, eCommerce, product and brand awareness would be a bonus.
