Victim Support Worker

A leading provider of housing and support services in the Birmingham area is now immediately searching for an experienced Support Worker to support victims of crime into independent living.

With a minimum six month contract on offer, this will be the ideal role for an experienced Supported Housing or Engagement Officer to come in and hit the ground running.

Key duties:

? Provide on-going support to service users who have been victims of crime
? Oversee own caseload of clients across the Birmingham area
? Produce support plans and risk assessments
? Work in partnership with local authorities and police forces to implement the best possible practice

You will also have:

? The ability to hit the ground running on a contract role and perform well under pressure.
? Previous experience of supporting victims of crime is essential
? Access to a vehicle for business use in order to manage a Birmingham caseload.

The successful Victim Support Worker will understand the need to install confidence in people in order to maximise their potential and achieve their own personal goals.
