VEHICLE SERVICE ADVISOR APPRENTICESHIP
The role of a Vehicle Service Advisor is to provide each and every one of our customers with consistently high levels of service at every contact with our dealerships.
This exciting apprenticeship programme is ideal for someone who enjoys engaging with people, a challenging working environment and who wants to develop a long term career with an ambitious automotive brand.
THE ROLE OF A VEHICLE SERVICE ADVISOR
The Apprenticeship Programme is geared toward training the right candidate to become a qualified Vehicle Service Advisor. But what does a Vehicle Service Advisor actually do?
A Vehicle Service Advisor deals directly with customers and acts as a go-between between the customer and Service Technicians, scheduling vehicle service work. They will handle administrative and customer relations aspects of service department operations. Their duties may vary slightly from employer to employer depending on the size of the company, but they commonly include:
•Interpreting customer concerns and comments and liaising with technicians
•Booking/scheduling vehicle services
•Liaising with customers about any additional work required
•Estimating time and costs associated with repairs
•Handling customer complaints
•Responding to customer requests
•Tracking the vehicle through the workshop
A typical working week could be 40 hours Monday to Friday 8.30am- 5.30pm, however each of our Dealers will have different requirements.
The Programme typically lasts for 14 months and you'll achieve a nationally recognised qualification.
Training is complemented by a combination of regular coaching visits from one of our experienced Coaches as well as Virtual Classroom sessions and E-Learning modules.
