Purpose of the role
The primary purpose of the role will be to appraise vehicles at the Corby site using our own technology and mobile app. The candidate will ensure that each on-site appraisal accurately describes the vehicle and presents it professionally for prospective Buyers to view. We also require the ideal candidate to work along side our operations team to process vehicles, defleet and general administration duties.
The candidate must also be process driven, tech savvy and confident in appraisal techniques. Attention to detail is paramount.
They will need to be able to work alone, use initiative and have good time management skills.
The candidate will need to demonstrate strong communication skills and be able to deliver the highest level of customer service.
Objectives / Duties and responsibilities
A willingness to “get the job done” and to produce accurate appraisals of a very high standard.
Ensuring vehicles are consistently and accurately described and that quality images are available to maximise the sale opportunity with complete transparency.
The position may suit candidates from a range of motor trade backgrounds including vehicle sales, valuation, mechanic, loss adjuster or similar.
Knowledge / Skills / Experience
- Target driven and a self-starter with the ability to work alone.
- Tech savvy and able to problem solve and offer support to others.
- Excellent customer facing skills.
- Ability to manage time effectively and prioritise workload to achieve deadlines.
- Vehicle appraisal or previous experience of the Motor Trade a strong advantage.
Flexibility and adaptability: The ability to change and adapt your behaviour or work procedures when there is a change in the work environment.
