Due to a site relocation and continued growth in their Pension division my client, a highly respected blue chip financial services organisation, currently seek and experienced VBA / RPA (Robotic Process Automation) Developer to join the growing Process Improvement team.
Working closely with Process Improvement Analysts and the wider business it will be your role to support and maintain VBA applications and RPA in use across the pension business. A major part of the role will be to design, develop, program and deploy VBA applications ensuring that opportunities to automate manual processing are pro-actively identified and solutions developed where return on investment is deemed to be sufficient. Working closely with analysts and non-technical colleagues you will define and assess requirements and ensure that a robust development life cycle is documented. You will be expected to manage Automation projects from end to end and influence senior stakeholders as to the viability and opportunity to deliver operational efficiencies. As an experienced member of the team you will also provide guidance and mentor colleagues in all aspects of programming testing and automation of manual processes.
Applicants but possess expert knowledge of VBA and SQL along with translating business automation projects into working processes. You will be highly analytical with strong numeracy skills with the ability to model and document detailed application requirements, translating technical specifications into programmed applications and test performance against expected results. Applicants will ideally have exposure to the financial services industry or a comparable environment.
