Our client , an MRO organisation, is looking to appoint additional Valve Technicians to their team, they are seeking team players who are able to work both in-house and on site (site premiums apply).

Valve Technician/Valve Engineer/Valve Fitter/Repair/Maintenance

An experienced control valve technician (working on valves such as Fisher, Masoneilan, Blakeborough, Kentintrol). Experience should include ancillaries and instrumentation associated with the valves.

At least 3 years relevant work experience (valve service industry working on major outage and workshop-based projects).
Ideally working knowledge of major process industries such as power, nuclear, chemicals, oil & gas.
Formal apprenticeship and/or City & Guilds/NVQ3/HNC/HND credentials preferred.
A sound working knowledge of safety relief and manual valves would be an advantage.
Willing to travel for field work domestically and internationally.

Strong customer service skills and orientation
Ability to work on their own with limited supervision.
Good problem-solving skills.
Must have safety passport
Must have a clean Driving Licence
Good written communication skills (ability and experience in producing technical field service reports)
Must have good verbal communication skills.
Good listening skills
A team player
