UX Designer

Reporting to the Senior e-Commerce & Optimisation manager, you will be responsible for devising and delivering an exceptional customer journey on all White Stuff websites, using information design to inform the creative treatments for the site. You’ll be working in the e-Commerce team but also closely with Marketing and Creative, as this role will have a clear remit across all customer touchpoints online.

In an always evolving retail environment, you’ll need to be passionate about improving the online experience and ultimately drive financial improvements for the business. You’ll need a creative eye and understanding of customer psychology.

What you'll be doing:
• Analyse existing White Stuff UX and make recommendations for change based on information design, web analytics, MVT analysis and stakeholder feedback where appropriate
• Define and design a set of UX principles to be used across White Stuff’s online channels, including (but not limited to) all aspects if the website, online marketing content, emails
• Devise an ongoing ‘mobile-first’ UX strategy in line with the development roadmap for the website, ensuring that customer engagement and experience are maximised
• Work with the Creative, Marketing and Content teams to ensure that UX can be optimised continually with the rollout of new content and messaging
• Working with the CRO Developer to define and apply UX principles into A/B and MVT tests being conducted by the business
• Liaise with the Web Analyst to ensure that UX KPIs can be successfully tagged and tracked for business reporting and further review
• Design and build wireframes and customer journey flow diagrams to support changes being made to UX
• Recommend tools and strategies that the business could use to further measure customer engagement
• Establish a set of reports relating to UX that can be incorporated into weekly/monthly business reporting

What you'll need:
• Solid experience in information design
• Extensive experience with Mobile First and responsive web design
• Experience of A/B and MVT testing methodologies
• Be familiar and comfortable navigating and creating site maps
• Knowledge of e-Commerce platforms such as Optimizely, Intershop, Bazaarvoice, Hotjar, ATTRAQT beneficial but not essential
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a team
• Work in a fast pace environment
