As the User Experience (UX) Designer you will lead, manage and execute the delivery of key UX projects and business as usual work to support the strategic development and continuous improvement of Canon Europe’s web estate by;
Defining, designing and managing governance of key user journeys/experiences across all digital channels including the development of wireframes and designs for pages or applications.
Conducting user research & usability testing and QA/acceptance testing from a user experience perspective, in order to deliver a user centric design approach
Liaising with business stakeholders and facilitate workshops to identify user/business challenges and requirements.
Designing and presenting UX work back to business stakeholders and manage through from approval to execution, and educate relevant stakeholders on UX best practice
Managing digital agencies to support the delivery of UX projects & activities & ensure UX- and design-related deliverables meet our quality standards and adhere to our brand guidelines.
Ensuring the governance of a consistent and coherent user experience across our digital channels, including E-Commerce, Social Media and Mobile
Managing the evolution of our design guidelines, usability & accessibility guidelines & experience principles for web, mobile & other digital channels, so that they reflect our Brand Vision & Digital Strategy.
Working with the Customer Experience teams in our Business Units to translate the desired customer experience blueprint into the optimum user experience and journeys across our web estate.
As the User Experience (UX) Designer you will need to bring with you;
Previous experience in a User Experience role including the designing and presenting of UX work to stakeholders
Sound knowledge and experience of creating wireframing and prototypes based on user research and best practice
Strong understanding of UX, IA and UI principles and best practice
Experience in planning and executing user testing
Demonstrable experience of content targeting and testing methodologies (eg. A/B and multivariate testing)
Previous experience in search and analytics, insights and data would be highly advantageous
Strong written and verbal communication skill
