The successful candidates will be responsible for designing the digital user experience (UX) for npower.com. The role holder will champion the needs of the customer balanced against the complexity of business requirements, processes and associated technologies to ensure our investment in digital technology delivers a significant commercial return and drives high levels of customer satisfaction.
You will work closely with the Business Analyst, Visual Designer, Copywriter, Project Manager and wider business stakeholders. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning the UX stream of work, producing UX documentation such as user journeys, wireframes and sitemaps, and work with our third party provider to conduct usability testing. They will also be responsible for the ongoing optimisation of npower.com, driving CSAT and business benefits.
Required skills and experience
- Capable as a User Experience Designer, User Experience Architect, Interaction Designer or similar role working with high traffic retail websites
- Proficient user of UX software such as Axure, Creative Suite experience desirable
- Extensive knowledge of managing user-centred design activity, including research and design methodologies including defining site architecture and navigation, user testing, stakeholder interviews, card sorting exercises, heuristic analysis, wire framing and prototyping
- Degree qualified (desired but not essential)
