Bridgend - Urgently Required Experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk
£9.00 - £10.00 per hour + holiday pay
My client, a well established business, situated in Bridgend require an experienced purchase ledger clerk for a potential temporary to permanent vacancy.
It is essential the successful candidate has previous exposure of managing a busy purchase ledger function from start to finish. Reporting into the Financial Controller and working in a small and friendly accounts team, you will be required to deal with all aspects of the purchase ledger.
Key responsibilities will include: 1) Inputting supplier invoices, approximately 1,500 per month 2) Dealing with any queries, both internally and externally 3) Statement reconciliations 4) Preparing invoices for payment stage
My client is ideally seeking the candidate to come in and hit the ground running, with minimal training and supervision. It is vital you possess strong communication skills, as you will be required to support and assist non financial managers with any finance queries they may have with regards to the group invoicing procedure. Experience of working within a manufacturing, engineering or construction environment would be highly advantageous.
