Posted 22 September by NHS Business Services Authority

We are looking to recruit highly motivated, enthusiastic and hardworking upper limb fellow.

The successful candidates will be based at Wrightington Hospital which is a site familiar to all Orthopaedic Surgeons. Standing in a pleasant stretch of open countryside near Wigan at the very heart of the North West Region, Wrightington Hospital is readily accessible from the National Motorway Network.

We are looking for five upper limb fellows to join our team for a fixed period starting in February 2021 for 6 months. The vacancy is advertised on a fixed term basis as it is a training post and will come to an end on completion of the training programme.

Working pattern will be 40 hours per week (participate in out of hours and on call, if required), please note this is subject to change.

While drawing strength from the past, the hospital always looks to the future, determined to sustain its reputation as a hospital at the leading edge of both practice and research.

You must be fully registered with a license to practice with the GMC and candidates with FRCS (Tr and Orth) or equivalent will be preferred.

Successful candidates will be required to undertake an enhanced DBS check with children and adults.

For overseas candidates wishing to apply for the job role and require immigration sponsorship, you can self-assess the likelihood of obtaining a CoS for the post on the GOV.UK website.
