We are looking for a motivated, organised and enthusiastic person with a 'can do' attitude to support the Children's Unit receptionist team, based in the Paediatric Department, Musgrove Park Hospital.
General computer literacy and the ability to work on your own initiative to established deadlines are required as is the ability to communicate well with staff, patients and parents/carers. Accuracy and attention to detail, good concentration span and the ability to work under pressure are essential.
The Unit administrator will be required to work closely with the nurse in charge and ensure adequate staffing to cover all areas of the Childrens Unit. The successful candidate will be required to update patient records, track notes and manage the provision of paperwork within the Unit.
Experience working in a similar environment would be beneficial but not essential as full training will be provided for role.
