Job Summary
·Providing accurate and timely administrative support to underwriters on all classes of treaty reinsurance
·Ensuring that the information entered into the systems is complete and correct
·Assisting in the monitoring of the portfolio, through the running of reports and ERM controls
·Supporting the Treaty Manager with Renewal Tracking and Reporting

Key duties and responsibilities
·Data Entry - Work closely with the Underwriters to enter and maintain accurate information within the Treaty system (New business, renewals, endorsements, EGPI updates)
·Records and Filing - Update and maintain the treaty team spreadsheet, providing a detailed overview of the treaty portfolio for tracking and planning purposes
·Support the underwriters with the printing of treaty submissions, as well as the scanning and indexing of records in the company's image scanning system (DMS)
·Underwriting support - Check wordings against previous versions, highlighting all changes to the underwriter for their attention
·Help ensure that wordings comply with underwriting guidelines by completing a check list for each treaty allocated and flagging any issues
·Reporting - Run reports on underwriting statistics and clients as required for portfolio monitoring and planning purposes as well as in preparation for client visits
·Assist team in managing the renewal workflow and forecasting spreadsheet
·Manage the pipeline premium reports for credit control monitoring, in coordination with Treaty Manager

Key Experience:
·Previous experience in an insurance or reinsurance administrative role
·Previous experience of checking insurance and / or reinsurance wordings an advantage
·Strong organisational / time management skills
·Numerate and Analytical
·Use of Excel - Advanced level (e.g. Pivot tables, formulae, VLook-up)
