We are seeking a candidate who has sold machinery that makes concrete!
To achieve sales budgets set to meet the company’s business objectives.
Work with Engineering, Purchasing, Production and Quality departments to deliver the product that have been ordered by our customers at the right cost and quality.
Receive customer enquiries and determine the specification required from the product range to best meet their operational requirements.
For nonstandard product requirements, work with the Sales/Engineering Director, Engineering and Purchasing Departments to determine the correct technical specification and cost.
Price up the enquiry and present the customer with a technical specification and quotation.
Follow up the enquiry with the customer to ensure requirements are met and try to convert into an order to meet both his and the factories delivery requirements.
Prepare the sales order specification to accurately reflect the customers technical requirements and release to the factory in a timely manner to allow engineering to produce working drawings, all materials to be procured, and production to complete efficiently and on time.
Communicate with the customer and chassis supplier and update the business on chassis delivery timescales the customer on the progress so that finances can be put in place for the vehicles completion.
Required is a proven sales background within the concrete production and distribution industry or, significant experience within the industry with the desire to move in to a sales role.
