Trusteeship with the Limbless Association

LIMBLESS ASSOCIATION is a registered Charity appointed a new team and is now implementing a mixed economy and business model and all legal accountability is held by Trustees who also act as company directors.
The Limbless Association is currently going through an exciting period of change,development and growth and we are looking for people who can add value, a range of skills and bring forth important and highly relevant experience to our Board of Trustees. 
The Limbless Association’s objects are specifically “to enable people in the United Kingdom of all ages who are without one or more limbs to achieve rehabilitation and independence in hospital, home, education, employment and the community”.

Leadership and Governance – we are seeking an experienced individual to take on the role of Deputy Chair of the Board to steer the Charity through an exciting phase of development, sustainability and financial independence. This is an excellent opportunity for a well-connected, committed, highly skilled and dynamic individual with experience of governance and company development to provide leadership at a pivotal point in Limbless Association’s development and growth.
Treasurer/Finance expertise - we welcome an application of a skilled financial orientated professional preferably current or past CCAB to help ensure financial probity, assist SORP requirements, strengthen our human resource management and policy requirements by taking on the role of a Treasurer.
Experience in private sector business enterprise - We are an entrepreneurial and enterprising charity looking to develop and expand our work nationally and make this a more commercial endeavour. We are hoping to attract a seasoned networker who is able to connect our work to new opportunities, partnerships, investors and new circles of influence.
Institutional, corporate and Individual donors - LA have also launched a fundraising strategy in 2017 and we are looking for an experienced individual to help fund our volunteer led activities and progression partnerships. To support this we are seeking someone with high-level skills to assist this drive for a mixed economy and taking forward this strategy whilst evaluating and sustaining the new fundraising strategy launched in 2017.
