KMHCF is a small charity which acts as the collective voice to represent the views and concerns of Mental Health Carers in the Royal Borough of Kingston. We are recognised in this campaigning role by statutory services, and we partner with other third-sector organisations. Our Trustees form our Management Committee which meets about every two months, midweek in the evening. Included on our management team, we have those with life experience of being a Mental Health Carer and so we can assist the individual Carers who contact us for advice and guidance. We are keen to further develop our service and, for this, we invite a volunteer Trustee with the skills to help us achieve this. If you have expertise to offer, plus an enthusiasm to serve Carers who can feel isolated and bewildered, we’d like to hear from you. We are particularly keen to hear from those who can also offer to take hands-on responsibility for moving the development of our service forward. This may indicate an applicant who brings skills, but is now retired. If you have the drive to make a real difference for Carers, please contact us for an informal discussion.
