A Top 30 Firm is looking for a Trust Senior/Supervisor to be a member of their established Trust team. Based in the heart of London, this leading mid-tier firm is offering a competitive salary and season ticket loan as well as a non-discretionary bonus and childcare vouchers. This firm provides a personal, responsive approach to all their clients, and as such have built strong, enduring relationships with them which you will be expected to maintain.

You will be reporting to the Director of the Trust department, and your primary responsibility will be managing a portfolio of Trust and Estate clients. This includes maintaining computerised accounting records, preparing management accounts and annual Trust and Estate accounts, and completing income tax and inheritance tax returns. You will also be preparing cheques for charities and submitting annual returns.

As well as working with the Partner, Director and Manager, you will be assisting junior staff by reviewing their work and suggesting areas for improvement. This means you must be a team player who can build effective relationships with colleagues. It is essential that you have excellent communication skills as you will be client facing when handling client and professional correspondence.

The ideal candidate will be studying for or have obtained one or more of ACCA, STEP or CTA qualifications. You must have a good understanding of the tax and accounting issues of trusts, estates and charities to ensure compliance so that you can excel in this role. It is also necessary that you have good knowledge of CCH and trust accounts, Viztopia and MS Office.
