Treasury Analyst (Treasury Cash team)

Role Summary

Reporting to the Treasury Cash Manager, the main responsibilities involve ensuring a seamless banking experience for our retail estate of over 600 shops throughout the UK and Ireland. Key to this success will be building internal relationships with the retail help desk and finance teams in addition to our external banking partners, AIB and Lloyds.

Tasks

Drives for results. * Co-ordinates cheque clearances for our retail shops in both the UK and Ireland to specified timetables.* Monitors our clearance success to ensure minimum service thresholds are being met and exceeded.* Develops and maintains internal procedural documentation.* Investigation of retail chargebacks. Minimises the cost to the business by ensuring shop chargebacks are defended when possible.

Customer Focus. * Develops relationships with internal stakeholders as well as our banking group.* Orders banking books, new card terminals and responsible for setting up new standing orders.

Cash Management* Assists with daily cash management* Assists with payments and account funding* Assists with deposit and FX confirmations

Experience

  • Undergraduate degree preferably in a finance function

  • Hard working team player, flexible and able to act under pressure (to deadlines)

  • Excellent Microsoft Excel skills

  • Previous experience of operating in a fast-paced, high volume finance or banking environment would be an advantage.
