The award-winning Barrhead Travel is on the look-out for some of the best travel talent Glasgow has to offer. We are currently recruiting a Manager for our Silverburn Store in Glasgow.

This is a challenging but rewarding role. With the support of Head Office and a Regional Sales Manager, you will be responsible for managing and leading your own store to success. We are looking for someone with years of experience in the fast-paced travel industry who has what it takes to hit branch-wide sales targets.

Job Description:

  • Lead the store to exceed targets while helping to grow the brand in Glasgow and the surrounding areas

  • Train, motivate, mentor and lead a team of travel consultants

  • Implement new, alternative and innovative ideas of achieving new business

  • Contribute towards the sales and profitability of the business

  • Be an ambassador for the brand

  • Offer excellent customer service

  • Demonstrate a real passion for travel

Experience Required:

  • You will have solid travel product knowledge

  • Confident in talking about and selling long-haul, short-haul and cruise holidays

  • Previous travel management experience

  • The ability to lead, motivate and inspire your team

  • You will have proven track record in reaching and exceeding targets
