Travel Operations Executive
£20,000 rising to £21,000 after 3 month probation + Bonuses

My client is a direct sell tour operator specialising in long haul holidays to exotic worldwide destinations.
They are now seeking a Travel Operations Executive to join their busy operations department.

Previous travel experience is preferred but my client will also consider candidates with previous work experience with an interest in travel.
The Travel Operations Executive to support and assist in the daily running of the Operations Department managing the after sales function.
Travel Operations Executive Duties and Responsibilities:
Opening the daily post delivered into the Operations Department.
All invoices to be checked against the booking, ensuring the spelling of clients’ names, departure dates and where applicable; resorts, board basis and number of nights are all correct.
All Tour Operator invoices to be processed attached into the correct bookings and/or entered into the correct spreadsheets for Accounts.
All tickets to be filed away into the correct booking.
Assisting with any client queries in a professional and helpful manner.
All new bookings coming into the department are to be entered into the company’s reservation system, ensuring all the clients’ details are correct.
All new bookings are to be sent both an invoice and receipt of payment within 24 hours of the booking being made.
Travel Operations Executive Experience Required
Previous experience within the travel industry as a travel agent, within customer services or administration is an advantage but not essential
Grdauates with work experience within retail or customer service will also be considered
Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines, prioritise and co-ordinate tasks.
Effective communication skills, both written and oral.
Strong customer service ability

Base salary of £20,000 rising to £21,000 after 3 month probation
Bonus potential based on company performance of up to £5,000
