COMPANY INTRODUCTION:

The Great Projects aims to promote the importance of setting standards in endangered animal welfare and conservation in the tourism sector. A collection of award winning projects in animal conservation are used to showcase working models of endangered animal protection tourism around the world. The company is growing with approximately 1500 people booking to help endangered animals through The Great Projects each year.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Great Projects are looking to find a hard-working and dedicated individual to join the existing travel team to assist with client bookings and preparing existing clients before they travel. They must have good attention to detail and work well within a small team where good communication skills are vital. Alongside assisting clients they will also assist in various administrative tasks and liaise directly with suppliers abroad, meaning good interpersonal and organisational skills will be crucial.   • Respond to all leads and enquiries generated on a daily basis
  • Personally deliver exceptional customer service, following the company's sales process via email and on the phone
  • Liaise with overseas suppliers to confirm bookings and ensure everything is organised prior to a clients arrival
  • Provide flight quotes to potential or existing clients and book them on request
  • Provide clients with all the information they will need prior to joining a project
  • Assist with various administrative tasks
  • Participate and cooperate with colleagues to achieve team objectives
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

The successful candidate does not need any specific experience but should have some knowledge of the travel industry and an interest in wildlife and wildlife conservation. They must be fluent in both written and spoken English and someone with travel and/or sales experience is preferable.

THE PACKAGE:

Salary is dependent on experience, but also generous, with an initial basic of £20,000p/a - £25,000p/a. A benefits package is also available with bonuses of up to £6000p/a as well as incentives and travel discounts.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
  • The office is located in Ware, Hertfordshire
  • Trips abroad for product training at the various wildlife conservation projects we offer may be part of the job role after an initial period but are no more frequent than once per year.
  • Working hours are 9:00am - 6:00pm Monday to Friday with a pre-agreed day off in the week and 10:00am - 4:00pm on Saturday.
