Are you an experienced travel professional looking for a new role within administration? Do you have experience of administration within a travel environment? Are you looking for a new challenge within travel/events? Are you able to provide high levels of customer service and attention to detail at all times? If yes, read on! My client is an Meetings & Events company specialising in Healthcare & event travel and they looking for an experienced administrator to join their offices based in North Leicester. You will be required to provide administrative and operational support to the travel team and to effectively manage operations too! This is a fantastic rare opportunity and not to be missed!

JOB DESCRIPTION
*Travel Operations
*All allocated financial tasks completed by agreed timelines
*Coordination of supplier visits
*Travel option research for client enquiries using all internal systems
*Running of ad-hoc reports when required
*Formatting and sending out travel update email communications and updating TESS notifications
*To work on other projects as requested by the Travel Manager
*To cover reception, in the absence of the receptionist (namely lunch breaks and illness)
*Welcome visitors to reception and advise of their arrival
*Answer main telephone number and pass calls through to appropriate departments
*To complete monthly IATA flight and hotel booking reconciliations
*To complete weekly Evolvi rail & transfer reconciliations
*To complete banking on a daily basis
*To monitor and record airline charges received via our IATA portal
*Responsibility for identifying and claiming air ticket refunds via e-track
*Back office system support - Loading of new clients/suppliers and monitoring correct application of client booking fees
*Attendance and contribution at team meetings and supplier visits

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
The suitable candidate will have a strong administration background within a travel environment. You be forward thinking and have the ability to work to strict deadlines and have excellent attention to detail.

PACKAGE
The successful candidate will receive a competitive basic salary plus great company benefits!
Monday - Friday, 09:00-17:30 (1 hour lunch break)
We operate a rota system between 08:30-18:00 of which candidate would work 7.5 hours (excluding lunch) during this period
