This is a well-established and highly successful liquid waste management and industrial service company. We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Transport Planner. Their success has been built on providing an excellent service to their customers, reacting to their often-immediate requirements. This is a fast paced, ever-changing, pressured and exciting industry.
Your new role
In the role of Transport Planner, your main responsibilities will include:
- Day-to-day workload planning and scheduling of the fleet, plant, equipment and crews
- Daily involvement in briefing and debriefing of operatives
- Involvement with stores responsibilities
- Liaising with sub-contractors and suppliers
- Timesheet processing and analysis
Your working hours will be Monday to Friday 07.30-17.00 and you will be required to work 1 in 5 Saturday mornings.
The successful candidate will be expected to demonstrate reasonable flexibility in their working hours in order to suit the needs of the business, particularly at peak operational times.
What you'll need to succeed
The successful candidate will have experience in a busy operations department, ideally within the industrial services or logistics sectors.
