Description

The Transport Manager will be responsible for;

• Manage and lead the transport department to ensure the efficient delivery of products.
• Implement and maintain logistics procedures and systems in line with company standards.
• Collaborate with other departments to integrate logistics with business systems.
• Maintain relationships with transport providers and suppliers to ensure seamless operations.
• Address any transport related issues or complaints swiftly and efficiently.
• Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with transport regulations.
• Develop transportation strategies to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Ensure health and safety procedures are adhered to at all times within the transport department.

Profile

A successful Transport Manager should have:

• An International CPC Qualification
• Proven experience in a logistics or transport management role within the Transport industry.
• Excellent leadership and organisational skills.
• The ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong knowledge of transport regulations and policies.
• Proficiency in logistics software and other relevant computer applications.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make quick decisions.
