Our operation and logistics teams play a core role at On Air Dining. They are the link between kitchen, inflight and the customer. We operate our own fleet of refrigerated vehicles and highloaders, delivering to all UK airports.
Due to our rapid expansion On Air Dining are seeking an energetic, experienced and forward thinking Logistics Manager to recruit, train and develop our Logistics Team in all aspects, in line with our company vision.
Duties will be but not limited to:-
Team Rota Scheduling
Training, Recruitment and Development of Logistics Staff
Responsibility for successful despatch and on time deliveries
Driver cover when required (including weekends)
Handling administration including Health and Safety issues
Development of Customer Service skills with the team
Managing stock and reordering to ensure no items are out of stock
Responsible to the Operations Manager
Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects
Candidates requirements are:
Previous experience in a similar role
Experience of O Licence
CPC & Class 2 HGV Trained
Running a Fleet of vehicles
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Structured approach to work focused on getting results, keeping targets and meeting schedules
Ability to work under pressure, organisational commitment, willingness to learn
Strong people skills in order to work with all levels of the business
Ability to multi task
Demonstrate a consistent level of flexibility
A real determination to get things done
Computer literate with excellent Word / Excel skills
Adaptable to change
