Transport Clerk

Our client are currently recruiting for a Transport Clerk to join their team based in Swindon.

Our client are in need of a suitable candidate on a full time, temp to perm basis. This means that candidates will work through us for 12 weeks, and then get taken on by the company following.

Job tasks to include but not limited to;

  • Debriefing drivers
  • Issuing driver routes
  • Dealing with all queries relating to the drivers
  • Dealing with admin tasks within the team
  • Filing
  • Data entry

The candidate will need to be a good communicator, both written and verbally.

Experience with using the Kronos system is advantageous but training will be provided.

Candidates will need to be able to efficiently and correctly pick up procedures and follow processes.

Candidates will need to have a background in the logistics sector, and be able to pick up and follow processes, such as those needed to correctly use the computer systems in place.

At least basic knowledge of the Tachograph system will help also.

Working Hours: Tuesday - Saturday, hours to be determined

Pay: £9.60 per hour
