Transport Clerk

We are currently looking to recruit a full time Transport Administrator for a company based in Doncaster; provisionally a 6 months contract with a view of a permanent position after.

Candidate is required to support the transport operations team in an efficient and cost effective way with the following areas of responsibility:

Briefing and de-briefing drivers

Answering phones and dealing with queries

Problem solving

Recording information on a database

Downloading Digicards

Candidate criteria:

Previous experience working in transport is desirable

Working knowledge of transport and logistics

Knowledge of WTD

Understanding of customer service

PC literate

Typical hours of work are Monday - Friday 10:00 - 18:00

Pay is £8.50ph for the first 6 months and then will increase depending on performance.
