Transport Administrator required for Pallet Distribution Company in Malton, York
£24,000 basic + annual salary reviews
Mon - Fri 8am - 5.30/6pm, Saturdays on Rota
20 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays
My client, a pallet distribution company in Malton, is seeking an experienced Transport Administrator to join their team. The successful candidate will liaise with customers and other depots to ensure that email requests and bookings are managed efficiently and effectively. The successful candidate will receive on-going training alongside a small but experienced team.
Job Tasks & Responsibilities - Including but not limited to:
- Respond promptly to Customers / Depots / Network enquiries
- Customer Bookings in and Label Processing
- Job Input onto a range of Computer systems
- Provide collection and delivery information/scanning (POD's)
- Invoicing / Credits
- Problem Resolution
- Liaison with Customers & Traffic Planning
- Ensuring that Customers expectations are continuously met and exceeded
Experience within palletised distribution would be extremely advantageous but isn't essential.
