The AFC Fylde Community Foundation is a forward thinking and fast-moving community trust working in partnership with AFC Fylde Football Club, based in Kirkham, Lancashire. The Foundation currently deliver a number of flagship programmes throughout the wider community.
Pay- £18,400 pro rata. 32 hours per week including evening and weekends.
About the role
Reporting directly to the Project Manager, the Transformational Coach is responsible for delivering a bespoke mentoring service for unemployed adults over the age of 16 to overcome barriers and improve their skills & employability.
Main duties (but not limited to): -
·Undertake assessments of potential new participants
·Build strong relationships with participants, relevant stake holders, and the wider community
·Provide regular support and coaching to participants
·Proactively overcome barriers to employability of participants
·Ensure that all relevant paperwork is kept up to date
·Deliver regular feedback and recommendations on participant progress
·Ideally degree educated (but not essential)
·Experience of providing support to vulnerable individuals with complex and diverse needs is essential
·Experience in a similar role would be highly advantageous
·Excellent time management, organisation, and reporting skills
·Ability to work on multiple projects at any given time
·Good IT skill including a working knowledge of MS Office
