Tramper Drivers Days

Premier People are recruiting Tramper drivers to work with one of the country's leading logistics providers to the food industry. Celebrating 60 years in business, our Client operates out of 3 depot and drivers have the choice of starting from their closest geographical location, Nantwich, Crewe, or at their new state of the art depot in Newcastle-under-Lyme

Predominately the work is Monday to Friday days however weekend overtime will be available if you want extra hours.

Our Client invests heavily in decent trucks for their drivers, all are equipped with a fridge and microwave and Smart tvs. Wherever possible you will be the only person using the vehicle.

For the most part you will be delivering to distribution centres and the work is pretty straight forward.

This is ongoing work and should you wish to take up a full time, permanent position with our Client this can be arranged.

Having personally visited the site, witnessed the facilities on offer for drivers, had discussions with Senior Management and read reviews from current and past drivers, we are very confident that choosing to work with our Client would be the absolute right choice.

Pay

Monday to Friday £17ph including holiday pay

Saturday £19ph including holiday pay

Sunday £22ph including holiday pay

** All hours paid

Nights out are paid at £26.20

If you want to work any 5/6 days from 7, hours permitting, we can accommodate this

4 on 4 off is also an option

Duties
- Drive HGV Class 1 vehicles on designated routes
- Perform deliveries efficiently and safely
- Adhere to all road safety regulations and company policies

Experience
- Essential:
- Possession of an HGV Class 1 licence minimum 2 yrs experience
- Commercial driving experience
- Proven track record as a delivery driver

- Nice-to-have:
- Tramping experience

This role offers an immediate start for qualified candidates with the necessary skills and experience.
