Trainer/Assessor/Training & Development Officer - based in LondonSalary: £26,000 - £32,000 per annum + up to £4000 southern weighting dependant on home address

We will consider applications for both full and part time hours. Applicants who would need to work flexibly will also be considered where this fits with needs of the learners and this is something that can be explored further at interview if necessary.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that we have a high quality Passenger Transport curriculum for both learners and employers. This includes understanding the needs of the Passenger Transport industry and ensuring that we have the content, processes and assurance needed to offer a curriculum that meets their needs and is deliverable to the highest standard. The first 3 - 6 months will be focused on curriculum development, to ensure that we can implement a successful Passenger Transport Apprenticeship Programme.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high quality teaching, guidance and support to ensure that we provide an excellent learning experience, providing industry leading teaching & learning platforms, including ePortfolio (Onefile) and virtual learning environments.
Delivering training programmes on site, you will need to advise, teach, guide and support learners to achieve their chosen qualifications on time and to liaise with the employer on the progress of the learners. You will be confident delivering in a classroom environment, to small groups and 1-2-1, putting quality at the forefront of everything you do - for your learners, employers and team.
You'll be responsible for maintaining an effective caseload of learners through their apprenticeship journey conducting observations, teaching and learning and enable them to achieve all aspects of their apprenticeship including the End Point Assessment.
The successful candidate will be able to deliver up to Level 2 in Passenger Services and be confident to teach all stages of the programme. From initial engagement, meeting with managers, training teams and learners, you will use a range of teaching methods and techniques to suit individual learners and deliver all aspects of the Apprenticeship provision.

We are looking for caring people who are passionate about supporting learners through their development journey, our essential requirements are:
- Assessment Qualification (TAQA L3/A1/D32/33)
- Level 3 or above Teaching Qualification
- Level 2 qualification in English & Mathematics
- Ability to demonstrate a minimum of 5 years occupational experience in the relevant area
- Preparation of curriculums
- Experience and confidence in teaching groups of individuals
- Level 4 or above Teaching Qualification (Cert Ed, PGCE, CTLLS or DTLLS)
- Quality Assurance Qualification (TAQA L4, V1, D34)
- Additional specialism-specific Qualifications
- Understanding of the change from Frameworks to Standards
