Driver Hire Slough are currently looking for a Training Development Manager to meet the high demands of CPC training for the Driver and Logistics sector. We currently have 20 different JAUPT approved modules to offer the market with nationwide coverage and are now looking to expand within the south east region out of our Slough office.

The Training Development Management role is a revenue-targeted position, driving training course sales alongside delivering the course. The role requires a self-motivated individual with a proven track record of new business acquisition and account development. The ideal candidate is accountable for their individual targets and is also expected to ensure the best solution for the client is met every time

The ideal candidate must be able to cold call, flexible, committed, have previous transport related experience and be a confident individual. Training will be provided to deliver 20+ modules including First aid.

Roles and Responsibilities;

  • Achieve individual sales target
  • Professionally handle all in-bound training enquiries (web, email, phone, referrals)
  • Proactively manage your sales territory to generate new business leads and develop existing accounts
  • Design and action a marketing plan
  • Proactively convert leads generated from marketing campaigns, referrals and events
  • Intelligently respond to all client enquiries with the most appropriate training solution
  • Ensure terms of business are consistently applied and payment is received in advance of course attendance


  • A positive self-starter with at least 2 years' experience in an Account Management role
  • Client focussed, understanding the value of long-term client relationships
  • An excellent communicator with strong active listening, verbal and written skills
  • Able to demonstrate experience and success working in a telephone sales environment with a natural flair for building rapport and developing new business over the telephone and face to face
  • Organised and able to manage a high volume of work
  • Excellent IT Skills
  • Flexible with a positive individual and team work ethic
  • Motivated by the challenge to continually learn and develop their knowledge with the ability and interest to develop an understanding of the company's products and services
  • You must have a full and clean driving licence with own transport
  • Role is Monday to Friday (Plus 1 Saturday every 4 weeks)


  • Basic Salary: £26,000.00 pa (Circa £40,000 OTE)
