Reporting to the Training Delivery Manager, the Training Delivery Coordinators will provide a shared administrative and training coordination service to the Northern Region Airlines Flight Operations Training team. They will be responsible for the day to day running of training functions as well as the coordination and execution of longer term projects to improve the efficiency of training delivery. What you will be doingAs a Training Delivery Coordinator you will be primarily responsible for working with the training management team to provide shared service to ensure the smooth and effective running of the department. These tasks will include, but are not limited to:• Dealing with e-mail, telephone calls and other correspondence • Maintaining a database of all training lesson material, ensuring it is up to date• Overseeing the provision of electronic and other training material to pilots and cabin crew• Administering the crew performance management system including user testing and user updates• Working with and liaising with the Crew Records team to ensure aircrew are compliant• Writing and coordinating Individual Request Forms for additional training, and liaising with the Crew Planning teams to ensure efficient delivery • Assisting the Cabin Crew Management team with the planning and processes for New Entrant training and the provision of Attestations• Maintaining the instructor/examiner database and dealing with renewal and re-validation of examiners and instructors• Providing analysis of training records, in particular for the Command Review Board and ATQP reviewsAlthough reporting to the Training Delivery Manager, much tasking will be delivering work directly for both the Instructor and Examiner and Standards team. It is expected that each Training Delivery Coordinator will be given lead responsibility for certain areas of the business. In this respect, these posts require a team player who can work across boundaries and have the flexibility to take the initiative to help and direct all aspects of the departmental tasking. This will require not just support, but the ability to provide innovative and creative solutions to ensure we deliver high quality and effective training at the lowest possible cost.You will be an active member of the Northern Region Flight Operations Training team adhering to the departmental policies and procedures. This will require the forming of constructive working relationships across the business. The culture should embrace the customer service requirements of the pilot & cabin crew roles as well as demonstrating a “Just Culture” in all safety matters.In all of this you will ensure you maintain and manage close working relationships with the other members of the Northern Region Airlines team across directorates and especially with the Flight Operations Training and Crew Planning teams. You will need to liaise effectively with outside organisations including the Civil Aviation Authority.
What we are looking for• A successful administrator with great people skills • An excellent team player who will be able to multi-task and prioritise accordingly• Organised and resilient with the ability to work within a matrix management structure• Excellent communicator, written and verbal with attention to detail• IT literate with good skills in the use of the Microsoft Office suite of products• Be able to work with specialist software systems – software testing skills would be an advantage but not essential• An effective communicator with the proven ability to influence others, develop a strong network of contacts and gain support and commitment from line managers • Proven ability to use analytical tools to measure and provide data which will monitor crew performance • Self-motivated, determined and resourceful with the ability to be innovate and work collaboratively • A logical thinker with the ability to generate ideas and alternatives • A proven training record in coordinating aircrew training and an understanding of the aviation regulatory environment would be an advantage
