The Job:
Our client is looking for a Training and Competence (T&C) support administrator to provide guidance to the Field Management Team around the T&C scheme. With training you will support the T&C Risk Advisers in providing support to each location, supervising Manager Activity and Adviser intervention. The aim is to minimise risk where possible and increase profitability and retention by using and reviewing Key Performance Indicators to highlight risk trends in individual Businesses.

Key responsibilities:
Support the T&C Risk Team in the preparation of annual declaration of competence sign off documentation
Review and upload Manager activity ensuring regular 1:2:1’s and Observations have taken place in line with the current T&C Scheme Guidelines
Conduct monthly reviews of Key Performance Indicators and make an informed decision on where action may be required
Prepare and send supporting documentation to Managers where intervention is required
Quality check documentation returned by the locations to ensure supervision is satisfactory and T&C evidence is suitable
Create and provide regular MI reporting to the Management Team within locations. Highlighting shortfalls where required
Assist the team with the logging of Continuous Professional Development to aid in the amalgamation of all T&C activity to adhere to regulatory requirements

The Person
Methodical and organised approach to administrative procedures
Able to deliver to predefined timescales
Strong communication skills with an aptitude for building strong relationships and trust at all levels
Able to work independently and as part of a team
Can respond and adapt to changes in procedures as and when necessary
Occasional travel to other offices around the UK, expenses paid

Required Technical Knowledge and Qualifications
Essential:
Have experience in a role within Financial Services
Have a working knowledge at intermediate level of Word, Outlook and Excel
Desirable:
Have some appreciation of FCA Training and Competence requirements
The hours: Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm

The location: Gloucestershire area - occasional travel
The Salary: Competitive salary
