Training Co-ordinator

Job Purpose

We are looking to recruit a Training Co-ordinator for our well-established client based in Calne. The main purpose of the role, which reports to the contract manager, is to assess the operational training and development needs of the business.

Role information

  • Monday to Friday
  • 8:30am to 5pm


  • To work with the Contract Manager, Area Managers and Area Supervisors, and to identify the training and development needs through job analysis, appraisal schemes and regular consultation with managers and supervisors
  • To develop and implement training programs where identified
  • To deliver Train the Trainer/tool box talks sessions delivered
  • To keep abreast of best practice and amend and revise training programs as necessary, in order to adapt to changes in legislation or other factor impacting on the work environment
  • To ensure that statutory training requirements are delivered and recorded
  • To produce training material/manuals and to ensure the training and skills matrices are regularly maintained and up to date
  • To assist in the preparation of the training budget and to manage against budget once approved
  • To have an understanding of e-learning techniques, and where relevant, be involved in the creation and/or delivery of e-learning packages
  • To ensure that all staff within the business have the requisite skills, knowledge, practical skills and motivation to undertake their roles safely, efficiently, and effectively

Annual Salary: £27,500
