We are working with an Independent Financial Advisor that offers Wealth Management and Employee Benefits Advice to Independent and Corporate clients who are all based in the South of England. They currently employ in the region of 20 Financial Advisors who are homebased, to provide ongoing advice and ensure that their advice remains suitable. To ensure the best possible service, each of their three well spread offices houses support staff that provide administration support, client support and planning support to ensure that the advice is fit for purpose, that clients are always assisted and well informed and that compliance is adhered to and maintained.
As part of their recent growth, my client is seeking a Training and Competency Manager to join them to support the line management of financial planners and Appointed Representatives. The successful candidate will be expected to deliver T&C requirements as defined by the FCA and the company, ensuring that internal policies and procedures are adhered to. Frequent travel between their offices will be required, as well as flexibility around working hours to fit in with their Advisors.
To apply for the role you will need to have held a similar position within an IFA practice previously and have good experience of working with Advisors, providing them with feedback as well as be able to demonstrate a good knowledge and understanding of FCA regulations. You will need to be diploma Level 4 qualified and ideally be working towards chartered.
