Trainer - Recruitment

This IT recruitment company is growing fast, established by three people in 2010, and now with a 50 million+ turn over, and a growing list of international clients, they are in need to hire skilled support functions that will enable them to maintain this high growth curve.

One such role is Training.

Traditionally the training has fallen to the Directors and the team leaders, and to a point, this will be ongoing. After all, a good manager is also a mentor and a coach. However, to maintain their low attrition and high service levels this needs to be augments by a person who can conduct training needs analysis, then design, then deliver the training the teams need.

Being an investor in people, a large percentage of the people they employ are taken on at grass roots. Some are technology experts, some are sales people. All need initial recruitment training and ongoing development to allow the business to achieve its goals, and their people, their assets, to achieve their career objectives.

L&D for this company is serious. They need a person serious about L&D. Like you, they know that a well-trained team is a productive team. High service levels and professionalism leads to the retention of contracts. As such, this function is not just a nice thing to have, it’s business critical.

In an ideal world you will have experience with the IT contract or permanent staffing sectors and experience of training from grassroots to management. This may include sales training, personal effectiveness, time management. Either way, all training should fit around constant analysis of the business and individual training needs.

This role is very much seen as a senior position within this company. The Directors are keen on people that are happy to contribute to the strategic vision and how you as the trainer can help the teams maintain the expected client service levels and business objectives.

This company are looking to hire an expert. You will have remit to completely build and design the entire training function and get investment from the company based on your recommendations.

Experience of training recruiters within recruitment is a must.
