Functional Skills embedded delivery

To assess and guide learner’s performance and knowledge against relevant framework including Functional Skills within Business Admin, Customer Services, Team Leading, Management
apprenticeships to achieve high quality qualifications within the appropriate timescale.

You will be required to;
• Manage a realistic caseload of 40 learners

• Observe and assess candidates in their workplace
• examining candidates' portfolios of evidence
• questioning candidates about how they would deal with non-standard situations
• providing feedback and offering advice if the standards are not met
• signing off the award when all the requirements have been met
• keeping records of candidates' progress
• attending standardisation meetings with other assessors / team leaders
• working closely with training staff and learners managers
• Realistic caseload of learners
Qualifications and Experience required;
• Assessor qualified - TAQA or A1 units or equivalent
• L3 qualification in relevant subject
• Teaching qualification i.e. PGCE, Cert Ed, PTTLS or equivalent is ideal
• GCSE Grade A-c in English and Maths or equivalent
• Previous caseload management
