Trainee Recruitment Consultant

Basic £18k - £20k - First Year realistic OTE £30k -£40K

Role:

  • You’ll start by learning the full recruitment cycle and delivering to our existing customers working with senior members of the recruitment team.
  • You’ll become a specialist in your niche market providing our customers and candidates with exceptional levels of service.
  • You’ll be engaging with the customers and qualifying the business needs keeping in regular contact and always providing value
  • You’ll be writing ads to attract the best candidates
  • You’ll be using the latest tools to source and then attract and seduce the right talent for your customers
  • You’ll be pre-screening candidates, over the phone, video and face to face
  • Arranging interviews and coaching candidates through the interview process and offer management
  • Attending industry and networking events
  • Inviting candidates to our bi-monthly networking event in London
  • You’ll be writing blogs, creating videos and adding content across social media channels to build your brand reputation
  • You’ll be working in fast moving target driven environment where your success is based on your own determination

Experience

  • You will be a recent business graduate or have some work experience ideally in a target driven sales environment looking to build a successful career in recruitment
  • You must have a sense of urgency to move things along quickly while keeping client relationships positive.
  • You’ll be competitive, goal orientated, result driven, confident, outgoing and ambitious
  • Thrives in a sales & target driven environment.
  • Relentless, ambitious and determined to succeed no matter what.
  • Strong understanding of the importance of branding and marketing.
  • Friendly, sociable and capable of working within a team.
  • You’ll want to be challenged, with the opportunity for advancement.
  • Self-assured, accepting the responsibility for decision-making and seeing yourself as a problem solver.
  • You will be confident in defying recruitment industry norms and working with new tools, methods, and ideas.
  • Drive, determination, and attitude will be your key assets as well as an exceptional telephone manner (you will be on the phone for 2-3 hours every day!)
  • Must be able to travel locally and internationally (as required) without any restrictions.
  • A second language like Dutch or German will be a plus but not essential.

All our trainees will need to pass our the Google digital garage certification and Hubspot inbound exam in the first 6 months.
