You will work within the QA function, monitoring live websites for many of the UK’s biggest blue-chip clients. As a member of the team you will also perform basic analysis and maintenance of our User Journeys, when necessary, whilst working with our expert testing team.
Your job will be to use our web Portal to identify issues on live sites, initiate support cases for the technical team, and to update user journeys when appropriate. In addition to this you will perform some basic investigation of issues, from errors with websites including slowness to broken functionality, replicating manually where necessary, and feeding back the results of your investigation to the client liaison team.
? Regularly check our web Portals for live issues
? Initiate support cases for the technical team
? To follow exact user paths when investigating issues
? Follow procedures for further checks when investigating issues
? Provide high quality information to other teams based on your analysis/results
? Systematically assess sporadic issues
? Liaise with the Client Liaison team, who handle client facing activities
? Update your own procedures, as part of continual improvement process
? Basic maintenance of automated User Journeys to test client’s websites and applications, using our purpose built engine Additional responsibilities
? To attend daily scrums and monthly meetings with the technical team
? A minimum of two A-Levels at C or above
? A fast learner
? Ability to operate and communicate clearly and efficiently in a dynamic team-based environment
? Must not be afraid of manual testing and replication
