They require a junior planner who can
*Produce works orders and routes in accordance with customer's instructions & Bills of Material, (sales and transfer) through internal and external process.
*Ensure visibility of customer orders and associated production routes together with all manufacturing steps.
*Plan and schedule material processing orders to ensure accurate time scale is provided to individual departments.
*Create working specifications to ensure material is produced and certified to customer specifications.
You will have
*Attention to detail.
*Planning and organisational skills.
*Ability to read engineering drawings.
*Ability to identify manufacturing processes from engineering drawings.
The department are responsible for planning the progress of orders that come through the site.
*Previous experience of working in an engineering/manufacturing environment.
* Previous planning experience desirable.
*Knowledge of computer databases and manufacturing processes an advantage.
*Knowledge of material specifications.
*Knowledge of sub-contractors operations and processes.
*Demonstrate an understanding of fault finding and corrective actions.
