Trainee Payroll Administrator

An new opportunity has arisenfor a Payroll Administrator to join a well established business based in Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire.

You will be required to support a number of clients in providing payroll services, advice and support as part of a team. Duties include:

  • Managing a portfolio of clients on all aspects of payroll
  • Accurately input payroll data
  • Apply statutory deductions, including PAYE, NI, SSP, SMP
  • Process statutory forms, such as P45's, student loan deductions, P60, P11D's
  • Manually calculate salary changes where required
  • Carry out monthly and annual pension returns
  • Deal with any queries
  • Other adhoc duties required to assist the team

Suitable candidates should have the following skills and experience:

  • Minimum of 5 GCSE's - Grades A -C
  • A qualification in a relevant subject would be advantageous
  • Previous payroll/finance environment
  • Ability to establish good working relationships with a range of clients
  • IT Literate
