Trainee Paraplanner

Posted 22 May by Recruit UK

We are working with a Financial planning and Investment Management firm in Hertfordshire that offer a fully independent advice service to High Net Worth, Corporate, Trust and Charity Clients nationwide. They have full DFM permissions and so combine their financial and investment planning to ensure that they manage clients' expectations and life goals. Their advice is completely independent and they try to ensure that their advice is as simple and transparent as possible.

They currently employ a team of 25, across London and Hertfordshire; everyone is ambitious and hard working with the ultimate goal of providing the best possible service to their clients.

They are looking for a trainee paraplanner to join their Advisor Support team. The support team are divided into hubs and the successful candidate will work alongside one other Paraplanner to ensure that support is given to one of their 6 Advisors.

The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator with ambition, as well as well presented. The role involves some administration and working on templated suitability reports. The candidate will also be capable of carrying simple office tasks such as scanning and shredding, with an aim to get involved with the more gritty and interesting work throughout the day.

Ideally, you will have experience of working in an IFA practice and have some industry related qualifications with a desire to work towards the level 4 diploma in financial planning.
