An established intermediary, based in High Wycombe, are growing and expanding their business. With over 30 years experience in insurance, pensions and mortgages, they have an established client base that they continue to grow and expand and are looking to develop a Trainee Paraplanner into the Business.  This is an excellent opportunity for someone skilled within Paraplanning to join a well established Team of Paraplanners and Administrators.  The client rewards talent and you will be recognised for your skills and exposure within Financial Services.  At the point now where you want to make that move out of administration within Financial Services into Paraplanning, you will be given an opportunity to progress. 

Under guidance and using the systems in place you will need the ability to conduct appropriate research and liaise with Financial Advisor to determine the best product or investment solution for the company's clients. This will include the research of products and suitable investments.

Day to day duties would involve: -

 Assisting in the preparation of suitability reports
 Assisting in the preparation of financial reports
 Assisting in the preparation of annual reviews
 Assistance with financial modelling and projections;
 Completion of files to meet MRIB compliance standards
 Assisting financial services administrators with technical queries;
 Liaising with providers and clients by telephone/correspondence in relation to new and existing business
 Handling account queries (internal and external)
 Processing and submission of new business (online and postal applications) and monitoring applications
 Input of commission/adviser fees and the raising of invoices
 Processing amendments to existing plans e.g. fund switches
 Processing of department post including scanning to our back office system (Intelliflo)
 Updating and maintaining client information through Intelliflo
 Personal Diary management and assistance with team member diaries (relating to client work – not Outlook diaries)
 General administration duties which will include filing, binding, photocopying

To be considered you must be able to demonstrate the following:-

An ideal candidate would have achieved the following qualification:

Certificate in Financial Services and be studying toward the Diploma in Financial Planning.

The candidate should have several years’ experience within the Financial Services Industry.

Good understanding of Microsoft software including Word, Excel and Outlook
Knowledge of Intelligent Office would also be advantageous.

Platform experience of Zurich, AVIVA & Standard Life would be beneficial.

Familiarity of Intelligent Office, Voyant, Para Planner Online and SelectaPension would be advantageous.
