We have an excellent opportunity for a Trainee Lighting technician (moving lights, consoles, or dimming systems) to work for a world leading supplier of lighting systems to the film, theatre and entertainment industries.

Trainee Lighting Technician duties:

The successful candidates will be part of the team responsible for the day-to-day operation of our specialist lighting equipment preparation departments. These high-profile roles are the perfect opportunity for ambitious technicians to join this innovative, dynamic and expanding company.

Successful candidates will be involved in the testing, maintenance and preparation of a wide range of modern film and thatre lighting including moving lights, LED and discharge luminaires, consoles and lighting control systems and dimming equipment. They will collaborate closely with the in-house sales team and lighting crews to provide technical advice and support, which will require some on-set working.

Required Experience and Skills fort he Trainee Moving lights/Lighting Technician position

  • Applicants should ideally be technically experienced or have good electronics/electrical educational background.
  • Apprenticeship in electronics or electrical would be an advantage, however, not essential
