We are recruiting for a thriving and nationally successful mortgage broker based in Newcastle. Due to recent investment, the company is undergoing a period of expansion and is looking to recruit for its city centre office. As one of the UK's largest no-fee mortgage brokers, the company have built a trusted reputation and been chosen as the mortgage advice partner for some of the UK's largest brands, including Tesco and The Guardian.
My client is looking to recruit a trainee mortgage advisor who is looking for an entry level position into a successful firm. This is a great opportunity to become part of an FCA regulated company which offers both in-house induction training tailored to the role, and training towards a CeMap qualification. As well as development and training to further your career within the mortgage industry, the client believes in promoting from within the business and offers various progression paths.
The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service and although a sales background is desirable, it is not essential. The client is dedicated to delivering first-class customer service, and this ethic has helped them win more national awards than any other mortgage broker.
This is a targeted role where you will be required to manage your own workload and the ideal candidate will be able to confidently build relationships, demonstrate strong listening skills and communicate in a clear and accurate manner. The role will involve working with new and existing customers regarding mortgage queries. After determining the needs and requirements, you will then be able to advise on the product most appropriate for them.
Your duties will include:
-Providing excellent customer service to new and existing customers
-Gathering appropriate information so the most suitable advice can be provided to the customer
-Achieving/exceeding agreed targets
-Documenting all call activity
-Completing administrative tasks associated with role
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:
-Motivation and drive to succee
-An ability to build relationships
-Experience in working towards targets
-Strong maths skills
-Customer service or sales experience
This role is 39.5 per week and shifts are based on rotating weeks
Monday / Wednesday / Friday 9am - 5:30 & Tuesday / Thursday 11:30-8pm
Monday / Wednesday 11:30 - 8pm & Tuesday / Thursday / Friday 9-5:30pm
One Sat or Sun every four weeks 9-5.30pm.
Employees are required to wear business dress.
Basic salary of £20,000 with potential to increase plus a bonus structure with on target earnings of £45,000 (uncapped).
