Role & Responsibilities:
As a Trainee Mortgage Broker or Trainee Mortgage Advisor in Hornchurch, your main duties will include:
- Undertaking a structured training program led by the mortgage network and mortgage sales manager, giving you the knowledge and tools to excel in the mortgage advisory field.
- Working alongside a senior mortgage broker who will provide ongoing support and guidance as you develop your skills and expertise.
- Collaborating closely with the estate agency’s team in Hornchurch to promote mortgage and financial services, establishing yourself as a trusted advisor within the branch.
- Managing client relationships with a focus on transparency and customer care, ensuring clients are well-informed and comfortable throughout the mortgage application process.
- Conducting mortgage appointments generated by the estate agency staff, providing holistic advice on mortgage options, general insurance, and personal protection products to meet clients' unique needs.
- Working towards individual and team targets, contributing to the branch's success in Hornchurch.
Key Requirements:
To be successful as a Trainee Mortgage Advisor or Trainee Mortgage Broker in Hornchurch, you’ll need:
- Full CeMAP qualification (or equivalent), as this is a minimum requirement.
- Prior sales experience, ideally face-to-face, although candidates with strong telephone-based sales backgrounds will also be considered.
- Exceptional communication skills with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering excellent customer service.
- A full UK driving license, a clean credit history, and no criminal convictions.
