Trainee Mortgage Adviser - REMOTE Position offered! Permanent role -An exciting opportunity is available to join an independent Leading - Award winning mortgage brokers that specialise in Shared Ownership. They are looking to appoint a Trainee Mortgage advisor, this would suit anyone with banking, mortgage processing, estate agency experience. You must have excellent customer service skills and ambitious and articulate! Salary circa £18- 20k + BONUS.

The company has been established more than 20 years ago. They have a staff of over 40 and are market leaders in the Shared Ownership mortgage sector.

Applicants must have:
Minimum 12 months experience in the mortgage, housing, or a similar sector
Ability to remain focused in an SLA driven environment
Organisation skills second to none
Great customer skills
Empathy and a huge desire to help First Time Buyers
Attention to detail and care, focus on 'right first time'

How will you be trained?
The time it takes before you start Advising customers largely depends on your own appetite and progression speed. Studying for CeMAP is often the speed limiter, with an overarching regulatory maximum time of 12 months.
For any Trainee Adviser no matter experience, the first section of training always begins on our Frontline Team.
Within this team you would learn the 'in's and out's' of Shared Ownership, the rules of the tenure, how the affordability works etc and crucially the interdependence of Shared Owner rules and Mortgage Affordability, criteria.
The Frontline Team as the name suggests are the first point of contact for any Shared Ownership affordability assessment. The team look after.
