This responsibilities and duties of the Trainee Secretary role will be to assist Fee Earners and Senior Secretaries with administration, secretarial and reception support for the Insolvency Department.
Other duties may include but are not limited to:
• Opening, closing and archiving files
• Assisting with billing procedures and other account enquiries
• File organisation and filing accordance with departmental procedures
• Support other secretaries
• Hand deliveries to Court and Chambers
• Greeting clients
• Handling inbound calls on the switchboard
• Provide refreshments in meetings
• Attend training courses
You must be educated to at least GCSE C in Maths and English, have a good knowledge of PC and Microsoft Office applications and experience in audio typing.
You must also be able to work under pressure, have a professional and flexible approach to work, must be willing to undertake further training as required and demonstrate initiative.
