Some previous office work experience is preferred, although individuals straight from education or who have worked in other environments will also be given full consideration
The role of an Insurance technician will be to provide a reliable and accurate support function to London based Insurance Brokers, Account Handlers, Account Executives and Claims Handlers who handle worldwide insurance risks relating to Marine, Energy, Property and Liability as well as many other interesting insurance classes. Specific duties will include input and checking of information, production and processing of documentation, running of reports etc. A good grasp of Excel would be useful, in addition to strong general computer skills. Proven time management ability and good attention to detail are also necessary skills.
